Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly is out, and is accumulating pretty good reviews. By all accounts it is scarier than the first, and I am looking forward to getting my hands on it. In the mean time, I’ve been playing Clock Tower 2 and Extermination, both of which are pretty fun. |
Oddly enough, I too am playing Extermination. I remember it was kinda fun in the demo 3 years ago, but I got it today to play, and each time I fell off a cliff or died by slamming my head into a box, it only pissed me off to have to restart at the last save point, only to do it all over again. I shut it off and decided to fold socks, because folding socks is less frustrating and the springtime freshness makes me happy.
Yeah, the camera is pretty bad, and there are some cheap deaths. I’ve fallen to my death unexpectedly twice. However, the game is otherwise not bad. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the graphics, and though the game play could be better, it certainly isn’t terrible.
