Now that I got my features section working for my most recent article, I decided to upload a bunch of other stuff I’ve written in the last few years. Among other things I’ve added an in-depth review of D2 and a rant about the weirdest game ever. I’d like to write stuff like this on a more regular basis, I just have to figure out a way to make the time.
I like these features. It gives the Quest some movement (ie game X taught me this). I
look forward to the Hellnight article.
Could you put the uncanny valley essay up too?
That has a lot of good points on the direction
of current game development.
Thanks!

I think the article you are referring to is the one I wrote for Interface called The Problem With Reality. It’s linked from the features page. Here’s the URL:

Hellnight is something I definitely want to study hard. I have about 3 games to finish before I can move on to a new one, but it is totally next on my list.
Humorous Diatribe Aimed At Disenfranchised Romantics 25 And Up- I like this one as well.
I’m curious tho’ What the heck would a videogame
not designed for teenage boys look like?!
It could be cool…
The Sims? Katamari Damacy? Bejewled?
There are examples, it’s just that the industry in general is stuck in a rut when it comes to target audience.
